Raspberry Pi Top View

The Raspberry Pi in my possession.

I’m in Geek Nirvana right now. I have finally received my Raspberry Pi Computer. For those of you who don’t know the Pi is only $25 and is a whole computer ready to run. You can see how small &simple it is. Later versions will come with a case and other things but these early versions are for super geeks to tinker with and get the bugs out.

One of the coolest &most popular apps in the apple market is free this weekend only! Normally $2 it works on Ipad,Iphone,&Ipod. It takes a picture and turns into a realistic looking sketch, not a cheap photo filter but a nice app with some great settings to manipulate.

The Most Beautiful Christmas Tree…again.

The Most beautiful Christmas Tree ever! grandmaxmastree grandmasgarlandsmall

Grandma Lyn Boss Morton (my mom) is by far the greatest Holiday Designer I know. Back in the day she would decorate 30 trees with 3000+ lights each (before pre-lit trees). She was the designer the stores &decorators stole ideas from!

My Dad owned the largest Wholesale Xmas Sales Firm on the West Coast for a number of years. His showrooms were truly Winter Wonderlands and the best were my Mom’designs. Only problem was we had to decorate them all in late June for the Wholesale Gift . . . →Read More:The Most Beautiful Christmas Tree…again.

While reading about the famine I came across this product called Plumpy’nut. It’s a fortified peanut butter with dry milk,sugar,&vitamins/minerals that can bring a starving child back from death in as little as 4 weeks. It’s made in the US by Edisia (created by Nutriset in France) &they . . . →Read More:Give Plumpy’nut to Starving African kids.

Add the Strike Through function in Chrome for Gmail.

Strike through for GmailWhile writing a shat talking email to my fantasy football league I wanted to convey a dramatic sentence using the strike through (or strikethrough)  function. Like this sample.

So I went  looking on Google’s excellent search services &couldn’t quickly find a link that easily led me to a solution. So no fret my friends,I wasted the time on your behalf.

In Google’s Chrome Web Store I found a cool extension called, oddly enough,“Strike Through for Gmail“. It had excellent reviews and I ran over the code to check for naughty parts. It came up clean and proved to be a very light extension. It’s also free which makes it even better. (4.5 stars 1736 reviews) .
